Welcome to Domaine de Rey, a lovely old stone house, sleeping 12, with a fabulous swimming pool, large garden and sweeping views across the surrounding vineyards to the Pyrenees.
Perched on a hill above the small village of St Hilaire, the house has been lovingly restored to provide comfortable, contemporary accommodation ideally suited to family holidays, as well as parties of adult.

Getting here
Fly from London Stansted, East Midlands, Manchester, Cork, Bournemouth to Carcassonne – 20 minutes drive.
Fly from Bristol, Birmingham and Gatwick to Toulouse Airport – 70 minutes drive.
Fly from East Midlands and Luton to Beziers 1 hour 20 minutes drive
Via Train: Eurostar to Paris or Lille and then TGV to Toulouse which has a connection to Carcassonne

Carcassonne
Enjoy the famous citadel of Carcassonne, with its narrow cobbled streets, gothic towers and magnificent ramparts.
Boat Hire
Explore the historic 17th century Canal du Midi which runs through the vineyards of the Minevois to the Mediterranean
Water Sports
There is also canoeing and white water rafting at Quillon and Limoux, and an accropark for children, at both Carcassonne & Alet les Bains
Horse Riding
For riding there are a number of stables locally offering hourly to whole day treks.
Golf
Keen golfers can play the 18 hole golf course at the nearby Domaine d’Aurai and also Carcassonne Golf Course & Restaurant
Beaches
In just over an hour you can be on a wide sandy Mediterranean beach near Leucate
Skiing
Just 1-hour away is Mont d’Olmes, witb 23km of piste in the mountains near Montsegur.
