Over the last couple of years has been extensively renovated. It is now light, airy and comfortable, with a new kitchen and bathrooms. The décor is simple and modern, yet retains the feel of the old farmhouse, with white walls, natural stone or wooden painted floors and stylish traditional and contemporary furniture.
The centre of the house is the large fully equipped modern kitchen/dining room with three French doors leading out onto the front terrace. There is a dining table which seats twelve and wood burning stove and separate utility room. The sunny sitting room has wooden floors and an open fireplace, comfortable sofas and armchairs and French doors leading to the garden. As well as the sitting room, there is a snug/TV room with sofa, television and DVD player. At the other end of the house is a playroom, with table tennis table, TV, DVD player, bean bags, large cushions and lots of books, toys and games.
Upstairs there are six bedrooms, four large doubles and two smaller twin rooms. One double is accessed from separate stairs from the sitting room. Three of the double bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms, one with a shower, while the other two master bedrooms both have walk in showers and French baths. The fourth double shares a separate bathroom with the twin rooms. All have comfortable beds, Egyptian cotton sheets and beautiful views of the surrounding countryside.
The house has two woodburners downstairs and an open fire. There are also radiators in all the bedrooms, so the house can be rented during the winter months.
